There is a mysterious spell called “Tanuki-sama” in Ibaraki Prefecture. The legend says that if you cast a spell on a stuffed raccoon dog, it will grant you one wish.This is a hands-on tour of about 20 minutes, where you are divided into groups of about 10 people and go around the ruins with a guide.

鹿島海軍空戰隊遺跡

鹿島海軍航空隊は1938年に水上機の練習航空隊として発足しました。
1945年の終戦後の翌年、旧制東京医科歯科大学予科など地域医療の拠点となりましたが、1977年にその役目を終え、長らく跡地は放置されていました。
全国でもめずらしく、ほぼ当時の姿のまま廃墟化し、他に類を見ない景観のため、近年急激にロケ地としての需要が高まり、映画、ドラマ、ＭＶなどの撮影が増えています。
戦争史跡を未来へ遺すプロジェクトが立ち上がり、昨年より週末のみ一般公開されるようになりました。

The Kashima Naval Air Corps was established in 1938 as a training air corps for seaplanes. In 1945 - a year after the end of the war - it became a base for local medical care, including the preparatory course of the former Tokyo Medical and Dental University but in 1977 it finished its role and the site was left abandoned for a long time. It is a rare sight in Japan to see a ruin that has been left almost exactly as it was at the time, and in recent years, there has been a rapid increase in demand for it as a filming location. It now is being used for filming movies, TV dramas, music videos, etc. A project to preserve the remains of the war for future generations has been launched, and since last year it has been open to the public on weekends.

"鹿島海軍飛行中隊成立於 1938 年，當時是一個水上飛機訓練中隊，1945 年戰爭結束後的第二年，它成為了一個地區性的醫療基地，包括前東京醫科牙科大學的前期部門，但它的作用在 1977 年結束，遺址被廢棄了很長一段時間。廢棄已久的遺址，由於是日本罕見的獨特景觀，遺跡幾乎與當年一模一樣，因此近年來該遺址作為拍攝場地的需求大增，在此拍攝的電影、電視劇和音樂錄影帶也越來越多。 為了將戰爭歷史遺跡留存下來的計畫已經啟動，從去年開始只在週末對外開放。

全長120m、1995年「青銅製立像」で世界一高いとしてギネス世界記録に登録されています。
エレベーターで85mの高さの展望台へ上ることが出来、展望台からは天気がよければ「東京スカイツリー」を見ることが出来ます。

At 120 meters long, it was registered in the Guinness World Records in 1995 as the world's tallest bronze standing statue. You can take the elevator to the 85-meter-high observation deck, and on a clear day, you can see the Tokyo Skytree from there.

全長 120 公尺，於 1995 年登錄吉尼斯世界紀錄，是世界上最高的「站立銅像」。 搭乘電梯可登上 85 公尺高的展望台，若天氣允許，還可從展望台看到「東京天空樹」。
